The date of birth is the trigger. Everything else is arithmetic.
A paediatric practice runs on a calendar the parents cannot see. Six weeks, ten weeks, fourteen weeks, nine months, sixteen to twenty-four months, and the boosters after. Parents keep the paper card in a drawer and remember the next date roughly, which is how a dose slips by a month and a catch-up visit becomes a phone argument.
This flow starts when a child's record is created with a date of birth. Saaro lays out the schedule from the National Immunisation Schedule as the baseline, plus whatever your paediatrician adds for their practice, such as optional vaccines the parent has chosen. Each due date becomes a reminder to the parent's WhatsApp.
The reminder names the vaccine, gives the due date and offers a slot. When the dose is administered and recorded at the visit, with batch number and site, the child's digital card updates and the next reminder is scheduled from the actual date given, not the planned one.

Timing
Lead time before each due date, how many reminders before a child is marked overdue, and the sending hour. Catch-up doses reschedule the rest.
Language
English or Hindi from the parent's record. Vaccine names are shown as on the card so the parent can match them.
Opt-out
STOP ends reminders for that child and notes it. The child stays on the overdue list so the desk can still call.
Escalation to staff
Name who gets the overdue list and how often. Questions from parents in words go to the same person with the card open.

The National Immunisation Schedule is the baseline for every child. Your paediatrician adds optional vaccines and their timing on top, and can vary the plan for an individual child.
The nurse records it on the card with the date and, if known, the batch. The schedule recalculates from that date and the next reminder moves accordingly.
