Whatever you run today, the records come across in about two days. Patients keep messaging the same WhatsApp number, and your front desk keeps working while the move happens.

Pick your current system. Each guide lists exactly what moves.
Every guide covers the same six data types, the same four steps and the same cut-over method. The differences are in how each system exports.

A typical migration takes about two days. Here is where that time goes.
Day one is export and mapping. You pull whatever your current system will give you: a CSV, an Excel file, a folder of PDFs, or a database dump from the vendor. We look at the columns, agree what each one means in Saaro, and flag anything that does not fit cleanly, such as a free-text prescription field or a date column in three different formats.
Day two is import and verification. We load the mapped data into a fresh Saaro workspace for your clinic, then you and your front desk open ten to twenty real patients side by side in both systems and confirm that the demographics, the last visit, the last prescription and the outstanding balance match.
Nothing is switched off until you say so. Your old system keeps running in read-only fashion for as long as you want it to, and most clinics keep it open for a few weeks as a reference.
- Six data types move on every migration: patients, visits, prescriptions, reports, billing history and appointments.
- Your clinic's WhatsApp number moves onto SaroConnect, Lumotis's own WhatsApp Business infrastructure, so patients keep the thread they already have with you.
- You get a written mapping sheet before import, so there is no guesswork about where a field went.
- Nothing is deleted from the old system. Ever. Migration copies; it does not move.
Bring a sample export to the demo.
Send us fifty anonymised rows from your current system and we will show you the mapping on the call, before you commit to anything.
Your questions answered.
The things clinics ask first.
No. Migration copies data from your current system into Saaro; it never deletes anything at the source. You verify real patients in both systems before cut-over, and your old system stays available as a reference for as long as you keep it.
About two days for a typical clinic: export and mapping on day one, import and verification on day two. Very large exports or unusual formats can take longer, which we will tell you after seeing a sample.
Yes. Your existing clinic number is onboarded onto SaroConnect, Lumotis's own WhatsApp Business Solution Provider infrastructure. Patients see the same number and the same clinic name; nothing changes on their side.
Plan prices are published: Solo ₹1,499 and Clinic ₹3,999 per clinic per month, billed annually, excluding GST, with patient messaging included. Migration is scoped on the demo call once we have seen a sample export, so you know the full picture before you sign.
Yes, and we recommend it. Most clinics run both for a short overlap, entering new visits in Saaro while keeping the old system open read-only, then switch off the old one when the front desk is comfortable.
Most Indian EMRs provide some form of export, even if it is only printable PDFs. If yours does not, we work from whatever you can access: printed registers, PDF prescriptions, or a screen-by-screen extract. It takes longer, but it is done regularly.

- FeaturesPatient recordsA record built from every visit, not a spreadsheet row. Prescriptions, reports, notes and follow-ups sit in one timeline, linked to the patient's ABHA if they have one.
- FeaturesWhatsApp automationSaaro runs on SaroConnect, Lumotis's own WhatsApp Business infrastructure. Reminders, prescriptions, reports and refills go out from your number, patient replies come back to the desk, and messaging is included in every plan.
- FeaturesMulti-clinicSaaro runs a clinic chain as one system: a shared patient index, doctors who move between branches, billing that stays separate per location, and a single view for the owner.
- Comparevs Practo RayPracto Ray is the most recognised clinic EMR brand in India and it comes with a patient discovery marketplace. Saaro Health is built around the WhatsApp thread your patients already have with your clinic. This page sets out the differences so you can decide for yourself.
- Comparevs HealthPlixHealthPlix is a widely adopted EMR for solo doctors, priced low and strong on ABDM. Saaro Health covers the same consultation and adds owned WhatsApp infrastructure, voice prescriptions and a record that spans locations. Here is how they differ.
- Comparevs EkaCareEkaCare is ABDM-native and plays on both sides: a consumer health app for patients and an EMR for doctors. Saaro Health is clinic-only and puts the patient side in the WhatsApp thread they already have with you. The differences are real, and this page lays them out.
