The calculator multiplies consults booked per day by OPD days per month to get booked slots per month. It multiplies that by your no-show share to get missed slots. It subtracts the share of missed slots you already refill, and multiplies what is left by your average consult fee. That is the monthly figure.
Because every input is yours, the output is only as honest as the no-show share you enter. If you don't track it, count last week's appointment book: slots booked, slots that turned up. Most clinics find the number in a few minutes with the register in front of them.
The calculator does not add pharmacy sales, lab orders or procedure fees that would have followed the missed consult. If those matter for your practice, add an estimate to the consult fee field. It also does not estimate how many missed slots a reminder or recovery flow would win back, because that depends on your patients and we won't guess.

No. Every figure in the result comes from what you type in. We don't apply a benchmark no-show rate or a recovery rate, because those vary by specialty, city and clinic.
No. The calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is saved, and you don't need to enter an email or phone number to see the result.
Take last week's appointment book. Count the slots booked and the slots where the patient turned up. The difference, divided by slots booked, is your no-show share for the week. Multiply out for the month or enter a typical week.
