Is your clinic ready to link to ABDM?
Tick off what your clinic already has: facility and doctor registration, ABHA creation at the front desk, consent handling and a way to push records. The checker shows what is left before a patient can link their ABHA at your counter.

Your ABDM readiness.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission asks a clinic for a few specific things before patient records can be linked to an ABHA. Answer yes or no to each. The checker lists what is done, what is pending, and who usually does it.
- The checklist reflects the ABDM building blocks as publicly documented: Health Facility Registry, Healthcare Professionals Registry, ABHA creation and verification, consent management, and record sharing in FHIR format
- Answers are about your clinic as it works today; the result is a list of pending items, not a certification or a government status
- Items are marked as usually done by the clinic, by the software, or by both, so you know who to ask
- ABDM specifications change; check the current documentation before relying on any item
- Can you create or link an ABHA number for a patient at the front desk?
- Does your software register your clinic as a Health Information Provider (HIP)?
- Are prescriptions and reports stored as structured records, not just PDFs or photos?
- Can you push a visit record to a patient's health locker with their consent?
- Do you capture and store consent artefacts for every data share?
- Can you receive records from other providers as a Health Information User (HIU)?
- Are diagnostic reports linked to the same patient record?
- Do staff know how to explain ABHA to a patient in under a minute?

A checklist, scored by what's done and what's pending.
The checker walks through the pieces a clinic needs in place for ABDM to work at the front desk. Is the facility registered in the Health Facility Registry. Is each doctor registered in the Healthcare Professionals Registry. Can the front desk create or verify an ABHA for a walk-in patient. Is consent captured and recorded when a record is linked or shared. Can the software push a visit record in FHIR format to the patient's linked ABHA.
Each item you tick is marked done. Each item you leave is marked pending, with a note on who usually completes it. Facility and doctor registration are the clinic's to do, with the doctor's registration number to hand. ABHA creation, consent artefacts and the FHIR push are the software's to provide, and the front desk's to use.
The result is not a government status and does not appear anywhere outside your browser. It is a way to see, in a few minutes, whether the remaining work is a registration form, a software change, or a front desk habit.
- Result = items done and items pending, each with its usual owner
- No score is applied beyond the count of done and pending items
- Nothing you enter is stored or sent
- Check the current ABDM documentation for the latest requirements

ABHA at the front desk
Create or verify a patient's ABHA at registration, from the same screen the front desk already uses, and link it to the record.
Learn moreConsent in the record
Consent artefacts are recorded against the patient's record when a record is linked or shared, and can be shown later.
Learn moreFHIR record push
A visit, its prescription and its reports are pushed to the patient's linked ABHA in FHIR format from the record, without a separate portal.

Your questions answered.
The things clinics ask first.
No. It is a checklist based on your own answers and the publicly documented ABDM building blocks. Registration status lives with the registries themselves.
Register the facility in the Health Facility Registry and each doctor in the Healthcare Professionals Registry. The software handles ABHA creation, consent artefacts and the FHIR record push; the front desk uses them.
No. The checker runs in your browser. Nothing is saved and no contact details are requested.

- FeaturesPatient recordsA record built from every visit, not a spreadsheet row. Prescriptions, reports, notes and follow-ups sit in one timeline, linked to the patient's ABHA if they have one.
- TrustABDM complianceABHA creation, care-context linking, consent requests and FHIR record push happen inside the patient record. Here is what the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission asks of a clinic, and which parts Saaro handles.
- TrustData residencySaaro Health is hosted in India, in hosting region. Databases, report files, backups and the WhatsApp messaging layer are all in-country. The one thing that crosses a border is the WhatsApp message itself, and we say so.
