A WhatsApp Business Solution Provider (BSP) is the infrastructure that connects a business to Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform — managing message templates, delivery, and the technical connection needed to send WhatsApp Business messages at scale. To send messages through WhatsApp Business at any volume, a product needs a BSP behind it.
Most clinic software in India resells access to a third-party BSP, passing the per-message or per-conversation cost to the clinic, and routing new message templates through that BSP's own approval process. A smaller number of products, including Saaro Health, own their BSP infrastructure directly rather than reselling someone else's.
SaroConnect is Lumotis's own WhatsApp Business infrastructure. Because it isn't resold from a third party, patient messaging on Saaro Health is bundled into the plan rather than metered, and new message templates don't wait on an external approval queue.
