A video consult that ends up in the same record either way.

For the follow-up that doesn't need a physical visit. The call happens over a link sent on WhatsApp; the prescription and notes go into the same patient record as an in-person consult.

Where it fits

Not every follow-up needs the patient back in the chair.

A stable chronic-care check-in, a report review, a quick question after a procedure — plenty of follow-ups don't need a physical visit, but they still need to be seen. Teleconsultation lets the doctor keep that slot, without the patient losing an afternoon getting to the clinic.

The call itself is a video link sent on WhatsApp, so the patient doesn't install a separate app. What happens in the call — the prescription, the note — is filed to the same record as any other visit.

How it works

Book, join, prescribe, record.

  1. 01Front desk

    Book the slot

Scheduled like any appointment, marked as a teleconsult.

  2. 02Automatic

    Link sent

The patient gets a WhatsApp message with a one-tap video link ahead of the slot.

  3. 03At the time

    Consult happens

Doctor and patient join from the same link; no separate app or login for the patient.

  4. 04Same as always

    Filed to the record

Prescription and notes save to the patient's record exactly as an in-person visit would.

Your questions answered.

The things clinics ask first.

No. The video link opens in the browser from the WhatsApp message.

Yes, the same voice or typed prescription flow works during a video consult and is sent to the patient the same way.

You set the fee; it bills through the same invoicing flow as any consult.

Follow national telemedicine practice guidelines for what can and cannot be prescribed remotely; Saaro does not restrict this at the product level.
