Saaro Health
Integration

ABHA linking, built into the front desk.

Create or link a patient's ABHA number in the same flow as registration. Records push to the health locker with consent, and your clinic registers as a Health Information Provider.

  • HIP registered
  • Consent artefacts recorded
  • FHIR-formatted push
What it does

ABHA isn't a separate portal — it's a field at registration.

ABDM asks every provider to be able to create or link a patient's ABHA number, capture consent for sharing records, and push structured data to the patient's health locker. Doing that through a separate government portal, outside your EMR, means double entry and a second login for the front desk.

Saaro registers your clinic as a Health Information Provider and does ABHA creation and linking inside the same registration screen your reception already uses.

How it connects

Register, link, push, receive.

  1. 01Once

    Facility registration

Your clinic is registered as a Health Information Provider under ABDM.

  2. 02Per patient

    ABHA at the desk

Reception creates or links a patient's ABHA number using Aadhaar or mobile OTP.

  3. 03Per visit

    Consent-based push

Prescriptions and reports push to the patient's health locker with recorded consent.

  4. 04When shared

    Receive as HIU

With consent, view records another provider has shared for the same patient.

What syncs

The parts of ABDM a clinic actually touches.

  • ABHA creation & linking

    Aadhaar or mobile-based, at registration.

  • Consent manager

Every record push and pull is logged against an explicit consent artefact.

  • FHIR-formatted records

Prescriptions and reports are structured to the FHIR bundles ABDM expects.

  • Health locker push

Visit summaries reach the patient's ABDM health locker after consent.

Your questions answered.

The things clinics ask first.

No. The clinic works the same for patients without one; ABHA is created only when the patient wants it.

{{ABDM_HIU_STATUS}}

None. Every share is tied to a recorded consent artefact.
